I queued the Endpaper Mitts pattern back in my first year of ravelry (2007). I started them once, in a color combination that was lacking oomph. So, I let the pattern languish, and then tried a second time, in a much more vibrant and happy color combination. I was enamored with this project, and chose similar colors in a different yarn for my pair.
They took me over a year to finish (really, I finished one and didn't cast on the second for months), but now I love them so hard.
Colorwork is so fun to knit.
These are so pretty Jacey!
ReplyDeleteyou're amazing!
ReplyDeletevery striking!
ReplyDeleteThis was one of the first projects I ever bought yarn for and they have not been knit yet. so they have probably been on my 'to be knit' list as long as you. Yours look so great -- so bright and happy! And they make me want to cast on my own. Look at you go with colorwork!
ReplyDeleteLove how they turned out, Jacey! When I first started knitting, colorwork was a scary thing. Your mitts are so pretty, I'm inspired to give it a try!
ReplyDeleteThey are gorgeous! I too have this pattern in the queue - such a lovely one.
ReplyDeleteWho wouldn't love them hard, they're beautiful! I love that design and those colors!
