So, on to some good news!
My pal Brenda, over at Pink Castle Fabrics, thought that one of you might need a new Kona color card.
I have the older version of the card, but your new card will have all 243 Kona shades.
The two cuts you see above are the new Leprechaun and Alegria.
Leprechaun is the dominant green in the citrus improv quilt (which I hope to be sharing this weekend, when I finally get some pictures!), and I've also used the new Parchment color, in the Scrappy Festive Table Runner I shared last week.
You can check out all of the Kona solids Brenda carries here.
Not to be an enabler, but Pink Castle also has a pretty massive sale going on right now, to clear room for all of the new fabrics coming in, which you can peruse here! I nabbed a little Summersville and Maya for myself. I just love both of those lines!
So, to win a brand new Kona card for yourself, tell me what Kona color (old or new) you've just recently discovered you love?
Mine is definitely Leprechaun. I cannot get enough of that shade!
I never ask you to follow my blog in order to participate in giveaways, but if you'd like to, please feel free! If you already do, thank you!
Also, if you are a no-reply blogger, please make sure I have a way to contact you!
I'll leave the giveaway open until Monday evening (the 20th), CST.
Good luck, and thanks for entering!
ETA: Comments are now closed. Thanks.
There is a new orange, I think it is called tangerine, that I love. Thanks for the giveaway!
ReplyDeleteOoh, I want some of that Leprechaun so badly! I love a good green! Thanks for the giveaway.
ReplyDeleteOh goodness, you're going to get me in trouble. I've used a lot of Midnight this year - it's been a great color to go with all sorts of good bold primaries.
ReplyDeleteI'm really excited about that new green Leprechaun. I haven't gotten any yet but I'm hoping it's that green I've always been looking for!
ReplyDeleteDefinitely Chartreuse! Which goes so well with Crocus, Papaya and Lagoon. Thanks for a chance to win the Kona Chart!
ReplyDeleteI like ash. It looks like a great neutral to pair with brights. I haven't used any yet but plan to! Thaks for the chance to win this handy color card!

ReplyDeleteI'd love a new color card, thanks Jacey :) My favorites are Cactus and Cerise, and I love Ash too!
ReplyDeleteI'm starting a project using curry, so today that is my favorite, but I change my mind a lot! Thanks for the chance to win :)

ReplyDeleteI think Jade Green is just awesome. Thanks so much!
ReplyDeleteI love me some Kona aqua. :) Thanks for the giveaway. Can't wait to see the finished dGS quilt!
ReplyDeleteI love using Kona's Aloe for background. the colors pop so well against it since it is a softer green/aqua color....the color I buy tons of though is Ash.
ReplyDeleteI have a little crush on Pomegranite right now, but have been dying to see the new colours!
ReplyDeleteI like Frappe and Crocus. I would love to win a color card!
ReplyDeleteooh, ooh, me me me! i recently discovered that i really like ochre. it's a mellower goldy yellow and it matches up well with many of my old standby color faves.
ReplyDeleteI just discovered pepper. I like having a dark color to play off brighter fabrocs, but without it being pitch black. Such a great color!
ReplyDeletei'm a bright pink kind of gal. but i also love papaya.
ReplyDeleteI'm falling in love with pomegranate at the moment...and aqua...and algeria (which I keep calling Algeria!)...I could go on, you get the idea!!

ReplyDeleteThere's a new pink that I think is the perfect blend of the old pinks but I can't remember what it is called. A new Kona card would definitely come in handy! Thanks for the chance to win Jacey and Brenda!
ReplyDeletei love old green with just about anything pink!!

I'm a new solids user and besides Snow, I have not used too much. A color would be so great!
ReplyDeleteOoo, fun! A new to me shade im enjoying is Nautical. Almost navy, but a whisper shy. and you don't really mind being a fabric enabler, do you?!
ReplyDeleteI’m a little obsessed with Plum Berry at the moment. It is the perfect mix of pink and purple. I bet I can find another if I win though! I keep trying to buy one, but when I decide to, I can’t find any in stock, and then I spend the money on fabric instead… it’s a vicious cycle.
ReplyDeletePepper or coal? Pepper I think it is!!!
ReplyDeleteI have Ash on the mind lately.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely citrus. As I've recently discovered, it's tough to find a good, bright yellow. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteSlate and sprout have caught my eye - love them ! Great offer !

So hard to choose just one, but I love kona buttercup :D
ReplyDeleteI'm working on some napkins in palm right now, but the bright pink color always makes me happy.

ReplyDeleteI love Lagoon! So many pretty colors, it's hard to pick!
ReplyDeletePeacock, Azure, Bahama. Those my latest kona loves. Looks like Alegria would go great with that mix! I don't have a kona card but would love one. Right now, I send Jenny my scraps and she ID's them for me when I need the help. Not the most efficient method!!
ReplyDeleteI just found Snow, it is a nice alternative to the White I always use.
ReplyDeleteIvana

ReplyDeleteCamelia and crocus :)
ReplyDeleteWow! That leprechaun is probably one of the most perfect greens I've ever seen....It would be ideal for binding my huge Green Monstrosity quilt. I wish I had know about it when I was buying fabric for the piecing.
ReplyDeleteAsh has become one of my absolute favs -- but seriously, you are tempting me with that Leprechaun. whoa -- might have to pick some of that up soon. One can never have too much green fabric, right?!? ;)
ReplyDeleteI think poppy would have to be one of my favorites with two girls to sew for.
ReplyDeletegtbernstein(at)comcast(dot)net
