Giveaway: Stash Fabric Bundle

it's always fun to dig around in the stash and pick out a bundle of fabric for your next project. And luckily, Beth over at Stash Fabric allowed me to sort through her shelves (figuratively speaking!) and make a little bundle. It was so much fun, and I really love the resulting collection.

Stash Fabric Blogger bundle

I hope you agree!
There's a little bit of Chicopee, the Birds and the Bees, Field Study, Lilly Belle, Ombre Dots, Grand Hotel and Painter's Canvas.

Would you like to win one?

If so, leave a comment here and tell us:
How many fabrics do you like to see in a bundle?
This bundle has eight fat quarters, and for me, that's a good number. Although it's difficult to limit myself sometimes!

Please, just one entry per person, and if you are a no-reply blogger, be sure to leave a way to contact you! This post will be open until Thursday evening, and we'll announce a winner Friday.

Thanks for playing! And especially, thank you, Beth, and Stash Fabric!
If you don't win, you can find the bundle here!

  1. Very nice bundle! I'm a big fan of blues and limes and I've been eyeing a few of those prints. :)

I typically like to see 6-8 fabrics in a bundle. Any less and it feels limited and if there's more, it can overwhelm me a little.

  2. I love bright, colorful, chaotic quilts so the more the better!

    ReplyDelete
  3. That's a beautiful bundle! I usually like bundles with 6-8 fat quarters, any more and I have a harder time chosing solids to mix in : )

    ReplyDelete
  4. For me, it's the more the merrier. I go for up to 20 different fabrics.

    ReplyDelete
  5. Such a gorgeous bundle! Of course it has 3 of my recent favorite prints, so that really helps (feathers, meteors and lily belle flowers). I'm a greedy guts so the more in a bundle the better! But my eyes are often bigger than my wallet, so something smaller like 8 fqs is great, and affordable.

  6. I love your bundle, Jacey! And I think I agree with you. I think for an eclectic bundle that is from a range of lines, 8 or 10 is a good number for a bundle. If I'm going for the line, though, I want every single print.

  7. I love larger bundles of fabrics. 8 is the minimum number I like to see, I think 12 fat quarters can make for a really nice quilt. Thanks for hosting the giveaway!

    ReplyDelete
  8. Awesome fabric choices! Love these colors together. The number of fabrics in a bundle totally depends on what I want to make (thought it's usually a quilt, let's be honest :), so I'd have to say I often go for about 12 fabrics to get a good mix. I love these 8 together, though! Perhaps the sweet spot has more to do with the fabrics themselves than with the number of prints.

  9. ooh, so pretty! those colors are fantastic and there's even some of those meteors i've been meaning to pick up! i go way overboard when picking out fabrics... sometimes i might have 20-25 in a bundle. but i often whittle it down when it comes time to make a quilt. i think 12-15 sounds like a good amount.

    ReplyDelete
  10. Those fabrics are beautiful! I don't care how many fabrics are in a bundle-- if they all look good together, that's good enough for me.

    ReplyDelete
  11. oh yeah, these are beautiful. I think 8-10 are lovely, though I'm still really happy with 6 - obviously not enough for a very large project, but still good for the stash.

    ReplyDelete
  12. I think 8 is the perfect number - enough to play with, but not too overwhelming. I love this bundle of colors! :)

    ReplyDelete
  13. i think 8 is a great number :) and i love the bundle you put together!! totally "me" colors

    ReplyDelete
  14. I love this bundle! Such good colors and patterns. Personally, I like to see between 8 and 12 in a bundle. Just enough for me!

    Thanks for the giveaway.

    ReplyDelete
  15. I love your bundle! I guess that must mean that the perfect bundle size is 8!

    ReplyDelete
  16. I like 10 to 12. This lends itself to many quilt patterns, offers choice in patterns that require less and leaves some extra for stash. Thanks for the chance to win!

    ReplyDelete
  17. I'd agree that 8 is a good number. I love the fabric selection you put together.

    ReplyDelete
  18. Thanks for introducing me to Stash Fabrics. She has a lot of beautiful fabrics. It's hard to limit myself when buying fat quarter bundles. I am compelled to buy the whole collection!

    ReplyDelete
  19. That bundle is fabulous, Jacey! I never thought I would be saying that I adore feathered fabric, but I do! I also completely agree that 8 is a good number of prints for a bundle. That way you can get a good variety but not be excessive!

    ReplyDelete
  20. 8-10 is a great number to play with. love that feather print!

    ReplyDelete
  21. I would love to win this bundle. What a beauty! Thank you. Bev. Bevarnold123@comcast.net

    ReplyDelete
  22. Beautiful bundle! I love blues and greens together. My ideal bundle is at least 10 fabrics.

    ReplyDelete
  23. I think 6 or 8 is a perfect number too. I never buy fqb's of a whole collection, it's just too big. And I like things better mixed up like this anyway. Your choices are perfect!!!

    ReplyDelete
  24. What a gorgeous bundle. :D I'm in the 6-8 crowd as well, mostly due to cost. It seems like every bundle has some prints I'm less fond of, and I don't want to spend $70+ on a bundle that I don't love every single fabric. :)

    ReplyDelete
  25. I like 10. That way you have a bit extra to play around with! Lovely fabric selection!

    ReplyDelete
  26. This bundle is so beautiful! It definitely depends on the project I want to make, but I think around 7 or 8 is usually perfect.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Ivana
I like 9 or 10 if I go for the whole bundle, thank you for the chance to win! ivana.tvrdonova@post.cz

    ReplyDelete
  28. Lovely bundling as usual! I think 8-12 fat quarters is a good number/size because it's still affordable, but it gets you most (if not all) of the way there on your quilt project. I'd love to win, and thank you both for the giveaway! safieh at gmail dot com (as if you didn't know).

    ReplyDelete
  29. Oooo that's lovely. I think 8 is a good baseline for a bundle...fewer and there's not quite enough variety, too many more and it can start to feel a little overwhelming. Yeah, 8 -10 prints bundled together makes for some quilty fun :)

    ReplyDelete
  30. I like 8-10 fabrics in my bundles. Just seems like a good amount?

    ReplyDelete
  31. I thought 8 is a good number, too, only to find out that many patterns use more. So it's difficult for me.

    ReplyDelete
  32. I like 8-10 as well - a few more if a couple are solids, though! (And I love when a bundle includes solids, since I don't have a local quilt shop that has a good selection, and I hate trying to guess by ordering online!). Thanks for the chance to win!

    ReplyDelete
  33. I love this combo. I would not have thought to put it together. I never know how many..I keep going until it feels done.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Such a fun bundle, I particularly love anything with aqua in it. I like to look at bundles of 8 to 10 prefereably with 1 or 2 solids in. It makes it affordable and still gives a good choice of fabric. Thank you for the giveaway.

  35. I love making scrappy looking quilts so the more the merrier. 8-12 is a good mix. I don't always end up using a bundle all in the same project anyway. It can get mixed in with what I already have. I think it's good to have a large selection at hand when starting a new project.

    ReplyDelete
  36. i think 12 is the perfect number. i like variety and i have a weird thing about multiples of 4. though honestly when i pull fabrics from my own stash i tend to pull a lot of fabrics and edit down to whatever feels right.

    ReplyDelete
  37. I tend to like at least 5-6 fabrics in a bundle, just enough to give you some solid options and one or two extra for a future project.

    ReplyDelete
  38. These colors are wonderful! I think bundles should fall in the 8-10 range. Any smaller than that and it would be a bit dull and any larger it would be a bit confusing to pick out all of the fabrics.

    ReplyDelete
  39. I like to make quilts, usually at least a throw size, so 12 works great, but 8 will do if I throw in some solids.

    ReplyDelete
  40. I think a bundle of 8 - 12 is just about perfect every time! I like you have a hard time limiting myself so the 12 probably happens more often for me when picking. This bundle is stunning! Thanks for the chance to win such a great bundle!

  41. I love bundles, 8 is perfect I think. I love fat eighths bundles too.

Thanks for the giveaway! Missed seeing you this weekend. :)

    ReplyDelete
  42. I like to purchase between 8-10. That seems like a good amount to start a quilt project around. Thanks for the chance!

    ReplyDelete
  43. I like 8-10. I like to have enough to fill out a quilt. I do sometimes go for bundles that have 12 but only when I don't want to mix much in.

    ReplyDelete
  44. I like bundles to be between 8 and 10... so this is great :)

    ReplyDelete
  45. I think 10 is a good number. It gives me the room to remove 1 or 2 and I can still add a few and keep the feel of the original bundle.

    ReplyDelete
  46. Around 8 in a bundle because I tend to add from my stash to even things out. I love the choices you put in the giveaway - thanks for the chance.

    ReplyDelete
  47. I like 8-12, less and there really is not enough for a project, more and it gets too expensive. Love the bundle you put together

    ReplyDelete
  48. i like bundles of 8 or 10. i think it gives just enough. there are some lines that i want all of but i really love the mixyness of blogger bundles. i like that they are usually a little of this a little of that. ;) xo

    ReplyDelete
  49. This is such a gorgeous bundle!! I would say 8 - 12 is good! Thanks Jacey and Stash!!

    ReplyDelete
  50. I usually like between 8 and 12 fabrics. The bundle that I just got in the mail (Simpatico by Michelle Engel Bencsko) has 12 and it's perfect! It really depends on which fabrics are included :) I love the bundle that you put together!

    ReplyDelete
  51. i just ordered a bundle of 8 of christmas fabric thanks

    ReplyDelete
  52. Heck-Yeah 8 is just the right number in a fabric bundle,,,and you picked the perfect colors for me!

    ReplyDelete
  53. I'm going to say 8-10. Great picks!

    ReplyDelete
  54. 8 is great, but I think it depends on the project in mind. I usually like to work with 10 for some more variety.

    ReplyDelete
  55. i concur...8-12 is a great bundle!!! pretty fabrics! xo

    ReplyDelete
  56. lovely. as i am still building a decent stash, the more the better!

    ReplyDelete
  57. I like 8-10 fabrics in a bundle. This is a very pretty pile of fabrics!

    ReplyDelete
  58. I like 8-10 for prints. If its a solid bundle, maybe more like 15-20?

    ReplyDelete
  59. Hi Jacey! 12 for me please. Thanks for the fun giveaway!

    ReplyDelete
  60. I love your bundle! I love to see 20 in a fabric bundle.

    ReplyDelete
  61. 8-10, depending on the size of the project, but I always through in some solids! sguday@shaw.ca

    ReplyDelete
  62. 10-12 is my perfect bundle... And maybe more! In bigger projects I tend to use more, and also mix in solids. Love the fabrics!

    ReplyDelete
  63. Hi, I think 6 is good, though maybe 8 is better given what everyone else thinks...

    ReplyDelete
  64. I think I never buy a bundle with less than 8 fabrics. 10 oder 12 may be perfect for me.

You made a great bundle with a beautiful color line!

  65. Great giveaway!
Eight sounds a perfect number to me!

    ReplyDelete
  66. Such a cute bundle! I'd say 8 is a good number, but depending on the fabrics sometimes a good bundle is as few as 4 and as many as 20!

    ReplyDelete
  67. I love this bundle. I like to see 6-10 fabrics per bundle.
    roseandlyn (at) gmail (dot) com

    ReplyDelete
  68. At least six. I look for a nice mix of flavors!

    ReplyDelete
  69. Actually, what I like to see in a bundle is a representative print/color/value/scale from whatever is in the design line. But in truth, more is better...

    ReplyDelete
  70. Eight is great - especially on the budget. I would LOVE to see suggestions in the description for coordinating solids to supplement the bundle. Thanks for the chance to win and for listening to what people want :-)

    ReplyDelete
  71. That's pretty funny, Jacey -- as soon as I read your question, I answered in my head, "eight." Then I see you agree with me. Great minds think alike!

    ReplyDelete
  72. I like at least 12 in a bundle. Thanks for the giveaway.

    ReplyDelete
  73. I saw this in her shop when I was browsing last night-so fun! You have such a keen eye for fabric coordination. I think 8-12 is a good number for a collection, but you're right, it's hard to limit sometimes!

    ReplyDelete
  74. I love getting 8 in a bundle and adding simpler patterns or solids to it. Thank you for a chance to win :)

    ReplyDelete
  75. I think 8 is a good number!

I can be reached at mpdemiter @ gmail . com

    ReplyDelete
  76. I agree that eight is a great number of fabrrics to include in a bundle.

    ReplyDelete
  77. Excellent choices and colors! I think 8 is good. Certainly no fewer. But 8 strong choices and then maybe some subtle tone on tones or solids to round it out.

    ReplyDelete
  78. I think 8 is a good number! More is good, too!

    ReplyDelete
  79. Those are all gorgeous!
I especially love the ombre dots and the painter's canvas :)

I generally like to see 6 to 8 fabrics in a bundle because it gives you room to have a great variety.

    lucky.platypus@yahoo.com

    ReplyDelete
  80. I think that 8 is a good number in a bundle. Although 12 is nice too if there's a combination of prints and solids. Thanks!

    ReplyDelete
  81. I think 8 is the perfect number! It should be at least five, though, and no more than 12 (the exception being if you get A WHOLE COLLECTION). :)

    ReplyDelete
  82. That's a beautiful bundle! I like bundles with 6-8 fat quarters

    ReplyDelete
  83. I always like to have at least 8. Seems to leave more room for variety.

    ReplyDelete
  84. I think the more the better - 10 or 12 suits me great. thanks!

    ReplyDelete
  85. Thanks for the giveaway! I like at least 8 in a bundle, but probably 12 is my favorite number.

    ReplyDelete
  86. I like to have around 10-12 in general, but that needs to include some solids or VERY small scale prints!

    ReplyDelete
  87. 8 is fine...if they blend nicely or compliment each other in an eyecatching way! Too often too many makes for a busy quilt. Nice selection you put together here! I have just finished a quilt my local hospital asked me to make for breast cancer awareness month raffle in Oct.

    ReplyDelete
  88. I like a bundle with 8 to 10!! Your selection is great !! Thanks for the chance!!

    ReplyDelete
  89. I agree that 8 is a good number! It's enough for a quilt, but not soooo much that it breaks my budget :) as low as 6 and as many as 10 work well for me, too. I'm a beginner quilter, but am LOVING exploring new fabrics. Nice combo here :)

    ReplyDelete
  90. I saw that on the Stash page--very nice! I think 8 is a great number--it makes the bundle not so expensive and gives a good variety.

    ReplyDelete
  91. Hi. I typically like 8-12. More than that is overwhelming, but fewer and I feel like I don't have enough variety. Thanks!

    ReplyDelete
  92. I like 8-10. Too many more than that and it's hard to focus on the prints!

    ReplyDelete
  93. I like 10 fabrics in a bundle, not too many, but enough for a good selection. Thanks for a chances to win.

    ReplyDelete
  94. this bundle is awesome!
And it's a little embarrassing how many fabrics I like in a bundle... not to buy of course, but when I'm making a color scheme! 8-O
But I really like this one. :)

    ReplyDelete
  95. So I think bundles should come in a small and large size small 5 large 9 . I think odd numbers work better in quilts to prevent too much repetition of patterns. I might be over thinking things though : ) Thanks for the chance to win I love your choices.

    ReplyDelete
  96. Wow - what a great giveaway! I like either 8 or 9 quarters for a bundle. So much of it depends on what you're doing with it - a pattern might just need 8 and some extra for contrast. But, 9 might make a great big baby blanket in blocks.

    ReplyDelete
  97. I like the variety you get when you get a bundle of 12 or 15 fq's, but a bundle of 8 is a little more justifiable on the pocketbook! Thank you for the giveaway chance.

    ReplyDelete
  98. I would love this :) maydurrett@aol.com

    ReplyDelete
  99. I like 8-10 in a bundle so you have variety. Thanks for the chance to win this bundle

    ReplyDelete
  100. I love all of the 8 fabrics above so 8 would be a nice number for a bundle!! Thanks for the chance to win :)

    ReplyDelete
  101. I think bundles of 8 are good but when watching the budget, a smaller option is nice too--4 or 6 maybe.

    ReplyDelete
  102. I think 8 to 10 fat quarters is a great bundle. I love those colors!

    ReplyDelete
  103. I like anywhere from 8-12 in a bundle because you can have a variety without breaking the bank! Thanks for the giveaway.

    ReplyDelete
  104. I like about 12. You get a good assortment but it's still affordable.

    ReplyDelete
  105. I like the fat quarter bundles with the entire line in them; however, they are usually out of my budget. So I guess I'd say 10-12 probably would be fine. Thanks for the giveaway and the beautiful fabric :)

  106. I think 8 to 10 fat qtrs is a good bundle. I like your choice of fabrics. Thanks for the give away! rj2muchfun@aol.com

    ReplyDelete
  107. Hope I'm not too late ... bundles of 8-10 are enough for me otherwise I become overwhelmed trying to pick my solids. These colors are cool and cheery. Who wouldn't want to win this gorgeous bundle?

I certainly would love to win :) These fabrics would make a perfectly bright quilt for my 96-year-old father's bed in the care home, add a little color!

    ReplyDelete
  108. I like nine. It gives you a variety and doesn't kill the wallet.

    ReplyDelete
  109. The more the better!
    sammypoohperkins@gmail.com

    ReplyDelete
  110. This is a beautiful collection. 8 makes a great bundle with enough variety to do something fun.

    ReplyDelete
  111. 10-15 is a good size, then there is enough to add 1-3 that really should NOT be there with the others, this adds mystery "why is that one there? It really doesn't match".

    ReplyDelete
  112. How beautiful! And 8 is my favorite number!

    ReplyDelete
  113. 8-10 is great. I like to see smaller bundles of 4 or 5 sometimes too. It's nice to add a little bit to your stash without feeling like you invested a lot. It's harder to break up the larger bundles.

    ReplyDelete
  114. I like anywhere from 6 to 10. Thanks for a chance to win!

    ReplyDelete
  115. Thanks SO much for the giveaway. I also like 8 to a bundle, although 6 is fine. 12 tends to get a bit too cluttered looking, depending on the project. I also love it when designers do the same prints in an alternate colorway.
    Thanks again!

    ReplyDelete
  116. I love the yellow and lime combination! Beautiful fabrics! I usually go
for 6-8 fabrics in a bundle. It gives a good variety of fabrics. Thanks

    ReplyDelete
  131. Well this is certainly a gorgeous bundle! I would like to see 2 bundles of 6 fabrics...both bundles coordinating...so you can buy both if starting a new project . . .. . or just one, if your stash is fairly similar.

    ReplyDelete
  147. I love the fabric you chose, they're all pretty. I'm new in quilting, I think 8 fats is good and better to start some creativity than 5 fats that I usually find in the craft store. Thank you for this giveaway!^.^v

    ReplyDelete
  148. Well it depends on what I a making, sometimes four is nice, for small projects. 12 is really fun though and give so many more combinations.

    ReplyDelete
  149. wow that's a great bundle right there, beautiful combination! I normally like 8-12 fat quarters in a bundle so I have a lot to work with and can get more creative! :)

  151. I think 12 is a good number. My friend recently purchased a bundle of 12 for me to make her "something" so I was able to use those in a twin size quilt with other fabric I had on hand for sashing and borders. Perfect! And if quilting isn't your thing, you get even more fun fabric to play with for multiple projects!

    ReplyDelete
  152. 6-8 in a bundle would be a good amount

    ReplyDelete
  153. I like odd numbers, so a bundle of 7 or 9 is good. :) 9 is better, cause it is more ;) AND it is a perfect square (3x3). :)

  159. I like to have 10-20 choices in a bundle, but then don't necessarily use them all. The excess just goes into the stash.

  160. Tempted to say "as many as possible" but I think 7 would make a good number - one for each day of the week.

  161. Very nice bundle! I think 8 is optimum.

  166. Nice fabric choices! I have several of those favorited on Etsy and it's cool to see what other fabrics you'd put with them.

I like scrappy quilts and playing with more than one line. So, I like to see small (4-6 prints) bundles if they're all one line and larger (8-12) bundles if they're eclectic.

  167. Lovely colors! I like at least 6 plus one for the back side.

  168. I like lots of fabrics in a quilt - but may 8-10 in a bundle so I can enjoy pulling in several from my stash.

  188. Good morning! I also prefer a bundle of 8 fabrics. I like scrappy quilts, but I also like some planning and deliberate choices of fabrics. These 8 fabrics are exciting together because the colors blend but the designs are bold. I would love the challenge of choosing the pattern and putting these fabrics together in a quilt.
