Jamie Christina's Pretty Ditty apron is such a cute pattern, and I love this red geometric fabric, found at the Quilt Show last fall. I paired it with some of Robert Kaufman's Quilter's Linen in a blue-gray shade, which I think works well for the trim.
I learned some new techniques with this one, including a ruffle (which is probably my favorite part) and gathering stitches, a very useful technique.
I'm almost finished with my swap offerings; I just have to make one quick supply run for the finishing touches! I hope to finish this up before the end of the week.
You are the queen of cute aprons. This one will be very hard to part with.
ReplyDeleteadorable! you'll have to make one for yourself as well.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE this. Funny because I was just sitting here tonight, after making a loaf of bread and looking at the hand print of flour on my pants, that I really do need to make myself an apron. This just reinforces my decision.
ReplyDeleteI would LOVE to make one of these!! I'm always getting stuff on my clothes when I cook and have been looking for a cute apron for ages.
