Citizens of Textile tomorrow!

You may already know about Heather's newest project, Citizens of Textile. If not, in short, it's a small marketplace of handmade goods and fiber love. It's only available one weekend a month, with a few artists featured each month.

And I'm a lucky duck who is included in the October offerings! Tomorrow (Friday), at 5 pm PST, you can find a few of my handmades, as well as loads of gorgeous hand-dyed yarns. Also included this month, is Splendor Falls. She has made some amazing woven pouches!

Speaking of weaving, two of my woven scarves will be available in the sale this weekend.

My Oceanic scarf, which I love so much. The colors are just my favorite, and it's so soft and fine!

There's also this Rosy Mariposa scarf, woven from some treasured handspun from an old friend and some Malabrigo Worsted.

I also made a handful of needle rolls, using my pal Amanda's pattern.

Lastly, you can find a few of my quilted pillows, of the Halloween and Autumn varieties!

Cafe Curtain Tutorial

Hello, hello!

I've got a tutorial on Sew, Mama, Sew!

I'm pretty excited to share a tutorial with you today.

I made this table runner using part of a charm pack of Dear Mr. Claus by Cosmo Cricket and Kona Parchment (which is a great neutral!). You can find the tutorial here on Sew, Mama, Sew!

Since this runner has no binding, it's a fast way to make your home feel festive. I plan to make another for year-round use! It's a scrap friendly pattern, too, in case you're not the charm pack type.

do.Good Stitches update

I forgot to share my do.Good Stitches blocks for August. This month, we made Greek Cross blocks, using the Summer Sampler tutorial.

I would love to make a quilt of this block. Angela is only waiting on one set of blocks, and I love the way the group looks so far!

Rachel has done such an amazing job with the DGS group, and there are new circles all the time! I've really enjoyed making monthly blocks for the group.
