Panache is Becca Bryan's debut line with Robert Kaufman, and I was asked to make this Compass Bag for her booth at quilt market.
It was my first time making this pattern (this is the small size), and I am already planning one to keep, very soon! I really love the way the hardware looks, especially on the adjustable strap (Anna gives suggestions in her pattern for sources). I really love these prints (Panache will be available in October), but the pocket/strap print is my favorite!

FO: Friedlander Josephine
This Josephine blouse is my third, but I haven't shared the first two here. After seeing Jeni's first Josephine, I felt inspired to try the pattern. All three of mine are sleeveless, and so wearable. I got a chance to use the new Friedlander Lawn for this one (and I have a pair of City Gym Shorts waiting to be sewn from of the leftovers!).
I actually have a shot of me wearing it (at quilt market), alongside my pal Jemellia in matching fabric! We joked that the only time it's cool to wear the same fabric is when you're among crafters and sewists!
One of my goals for next year is to be better about getting photos of my finished garments (or more specifically, of me wearing them!).

FO: Kona Crossing - free pattern!
Last year, I made a solids bundle for Stash Fabrics (she is still offering the bundle here, if you like!).
I shared the quilt top back in, oh wow. July! I somehow forgot to share the finished quilt, but good news!
You can get a free pattern for it over at Robert Kaufman.
I've been working on another version, using large blocks (a Doe layer cake, to be exact) and some Kona strips.
I hope this one will be an FO before the end of the year!
